Farewell to the Caradoc and Edrig

Post by ptlrcecil » Sat Sep 05, 2009 12:25 pm

Since Accucraft decided to withdraw the Caradoc and Edrig those at the PTLR decided it would be prudent to make a fitting tribute video, and here it is.

Right, I'll post my tribute so thanks for sending me clips guys (!) & thanks for getting rid of my original tribute because it wasn't related, I was eventually allowed to go & film a Caradoc at a local garden railway during an open day (that vid will be posted on Photobucket as if I posted it on you tube, the local W#####s will destroy the line). I'm Pee-ed off again now

No, he builds ride on steam engines, You should see his workshop, a traction engine at the back, A live steam Darjeeling B class at the side (currently having it's boiler tested) & a standard gauge engine (again with it's boiler being tested). I have made a video of the open day that I was invited to & I'm going to post it just for you lot. Oh, & that was the first time I got to drive an R/C roundhouse billy. Great fun (I used a picture that the owner taken as my avatar on this forum

I've always been very much impressed by the model of the fourth bridge from seeing it in the magazines.
