Resin printed 16mm scale estate railway wagons using lego parts

So this is my first test print of the wagons for my 16mm estate railway using Lego parts and running on Lego track.
It sits a bit too high, next iteration will be 3mm lower. I'm aware the axle boxes and couplers aren't that realistic for this sort of wagon, but the work well and are cheap and easy. Total cost for this is roughly €3 for the lego parts and €3 for the resin.
When I've got a few more wagons done I'll put them up on the Thingiverse. Other 16mm modelers may find at least the bodies useful.

More wagons
Left hand one is an FDM printed body from an old project on a new chassis

I like the way you can easily vary the wheelbase of the wagons.

These look very nice, easy to use the standard LEGO parts. I've done some custom MOCs of 16mm waggons, gauge adjustable.

Interesting to see another approach to using Lego parts. It does have the advantage if you don't like the wagon you can take it appart and build something else !
I've gone down my route due to being a broke retiree. It's cheaper for me to buy the resin, currently about €14 per kg from Amazon, than buy the lego parts. Each wagon only uses about 100 grams of resin . I managed to pick up another 15 of the bogie chassis off AliExpress last night for just over €30.
Having CAD skills helps too !
I'm helping a friend prepare for a house move on Monday over the next few days, but I reckon when I get back to designing these I can pump out 2-4 a day, hopefully by the end of next week, should have a decent fleet.

It took me about five years to accumulate that much stock.
