Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland General Manager update

Post by Peter Butler » Thu Aug 31, 2023 6:58 pm

This YouTube video is, as it says above, an update on the past year and plans for the Winter season for line improvements and maintenance. There is an interesting section which describes the visit by Dazza to the Ffestiniog..... well worth watching.

Dazza's shout-out is at 14:53, but the whole thing is a pretty good watch.

Watch out, pretty soon they'll start fitting them with Deltang receivers and Mylocosounds sound cards!

I have seen some switches/shutters in the US fitted for remote control for switching operations, which might be the ultimate evolution of garden railroading.
