Bottle Creek Tramway

I am being presumptuous and starting a thread for my mate's railway. Keith doesn't 'do' computers or take photos etc.
I tend to run more on his Bottle Creek Tramway than my Sandstone & Termite these days, as his very considerate wife 'minds' my wife while Keith and I run trains.
Keith does more GARDEN than me but his line is quite difficult to photograph without fences and houses in the background.
So here's to the Bottle Creek Tramway. Here's the 'garden' part

That’s a brilliant line and some very nice loco’s and rolling stock Greg.
How did he manage to get so much in a small space like he did, or is the camera lying…..
I don’t mind seeing houses and fences, it’s all part and parcel for of a garden railway for me.

Great shots and video. Am I right in thinking this is a reduction on the railway as it used to be?

Here's a plan of the line:
The top pic is on the right looking from the top of the plan (Vale station). The 2nd pic (Bottle Creek station) is along the house. I'd estimate the first pic is 30' long and along the house about 20'. And as Rik has alluded to, Keith reduced the size of the layout by about 30% last year. And horror of horrors, he just buried the track under dirt! The reason being he concreted the track in and it was too hard to lift it.

The siding at the bottom is his steam-up area.

I suppose that's the thing with laying the track in concrete. It is practically impossible to lift.

That's a very busy layout, reminds me of Hornby oval track plans.
I like the way he has fitted it into his garden without impeading on the main space.
