Allan a chap I know whio runs electric G scale said he would never run live steam because its too fiddley and expensive, well after running my millie he soon changed his tune

hes just took the dive and bought a mamod set

he brought it over and after I talked him through it all and replaced the SV it was away





I told him not to get his hopes if he bought a mamod but this 1 is perfect in its performance a really good runner











needs more fuel I think

That and the safety valve will improve the performance out of all recognition. A boiler filler valve will stop the gauge "glass" melting.................

I have several mamods and Im very happy with them

Im shocked because this mamod is completeley bog standard and runs perfectley
