A killer bunny strikes on the SLR

Post by laalratty » Mon Apr 06, 2009 8:54 pm

Something very strange happened on the Silverdale light railway today

Image
The arrival of a large rabbit out of the tunnel at Silverdale road was already odd, but this is what happened next...

Image
The bunny started atacking the passengers!

Image
Image
Not content at disecting passengers, it then started on the shed staff!

Image

Image
This trespasser was not for being prosecuted, indeed he was not caught and was last seen making a getaway on a highjacked engine!

Image
We will keep you up to date with news of the killer bunnys antics, but one thing is for sure, this rabbit's got a vicious streak a mile wide!!!

Shock and Horror as Killer Bunny strikes again!!!

Image
It's happenend again! A penguin waiting for the 10.30 service to Heversham was given a nasty end from a bite to the neck from the infamous killer bunny!

Then using the hijacked loco, the bunny made for Waterslack and again ran riot!

Image
The waiting passengers copped it first...

Image
Followed by the staff as the rampant rodent ransacked the booking office! (Including smashing the window, obviously)
Again pest control were called, and again the rabbit escaped on its hijacked engine. More news tommorow, but it is obvious that this rabbit is the most foul tempered rabbit you have ever set eyes on!!!

I think that rabit must have escaped to the WHR today were it tried to halt proceedings for the opening to beddgelert by jamming a point and steeling section tokens but lukily WHR staff fixed the problem before the train arrived at Rhyd Ddu.

oh right, well to answer your question its usually not a lot! The killer rabbit photos were mostly taken by LMSjools, I was only given them to display them to their best advantage on the forum. Having said that I decided where the rabbit was to be placed a lot of the time!
Next update in a few minuites...

Raging rabbit carries on Rampage!!!
The killer bunny has evaded capture for a third day, and has finished off more of the population of Silverdale

Image
The rabbit struck first by the usually deserted beauty spot of Thrang End, and suprisingly found some people to kill

Image
Eaves Wood was the next target, and after departure of the 12.00 train to Heversham the bunny struck with a fatal cut to the neck.

The bunny then had some bad luck, as the terrible state of the SLR trackwork led to the hijacked engine derailing and rolling down an embankment!

Image
The bunny hopped on regardless, barely peturbed by the incident or the pest control team that tried to catch him. Having finished off 5 (no 3 sir) 3 of their number, they were heared to cry "run away!" repeatedly, rabbit victorius again.
The concluding part of this adventure will be told on Sunday, it's a bit of a wait as it will be worth it :D

I'll have to correct you on that one laalratty, it was infact rabbit droppings that derailed the loco NOT the state of my track :error: :toothy8:

Killer Bunny completes rampage!
Silverdale Saddened by massacre

After lying low in the woods around Heversham, the bunny struck back with a vengence today. And there was some sad news for Gag Torton...

Image
As one of his relatives was decapitated by the bunney! His head was recovered though, and cyanoacrylate surgery is scheduled at Lancaster Royal infirmary...
The bunny then moved to its last SLR station

Image
Again nobody was spared as Heversham's staff and passengers fell to the bunny.

Image
The bunny was obviously thirsty however, as it climbed the water tower and drank most of the contents!
The rabbit then commited one last dastardly deed...

Image
As it drove off in the General Manager's car!!! Observent observers reported that the car dove off towards Little Morecambe - we await developments with interest!!!

This topic might appear to have been quite pointless, but it does show how much fun figures can be on a garden railway-despite what others may say
