Hello Folks., I forgot to Add a Few More Photos of Friends Locos On the CCTs Opening Day,
a Argyle Loco Works "Bantam " Modified To the Sorrento Tramway Baldwin (which unfortunately Failed Due to a Frozen Gas Jet) and "Philadelphia" Wait for Further instructions before having a run . A 2012 Built Roundhouse Limited Edition "stanley" Lifts its saftey valves for the Photoographer.

Gday Folks.., I have been quite busy with the stock planning and Sourcing bits for the extension,
Here is a photo of the track plan that im hoping to have finished by summer this year. the new bit of track for the extension will come off about 1/2 way of the second bridge and a cutting will be dug out into the middle of the garden bed which is where a tunnel will go then curving to the right and coming up to ground level then a small Branch line will run to a sand quarry where i will have a Run round loop 3 way points and 2 sidings for wagon storage and then continue on around the side of the water tank meeting up with the line at the start of the big bridge at the end of my yard., i have been given 6 meters of track plus the 3 meters i have already to start the cutting and the straight ( Thanks David Fletcher!).,
The stock List has changed Yet again!
the loco fleet will be at the moment
#1 "Goblin' Mamod loco purchased in 2017 for my 15th birthday will eventually be Upgraded to have a meths burner and water top up and a repaint .
#2 "Robin" Roundhouse Sammie loco due to be purchased around the start of winter this year hopefully and will be repainted APC red as used on Garrett No 2 and will have Name plates and builders plates fitted after repaint. this will replace goblin as the main loco in the CCT fleet for the meantime
#3 PDF models Baldwin 50hp Diesel Mechanical loco kit this is planned to be brought after Robin is Finished and will be fitted with Battery R/C and will be mainly used at the sand quarry.

Hello Folks., I have been busy with cool train doing some surveying and we found that #1 the original plan for the extension would make me have to redo the end of my yard , and so we decided to put a Triangle in (at long last) and going around the water tank to a couple sidings for the sand quarry and then curving onto a set of points into the station so hopefully there will be some interesting train formations soon enough and speaking of rolling stock wise i am finally going to build the last IP engineering wagons that i need to finish soon! if i can get my OO scale things sold soon to fund the purchase of "robin".

here is a photo of the revised track plan which will hopefully work just as good as the main line section!
Anyways onto other news..... i am intending on ordering 16 Binnie skips at some stage this year and 3 IP Freelance coaches to go with "Robin" and hopefully some more Wagons to go with the PDF models baldwin im intending to purchase as the main diesel loco, and hopefully have a few sets of vehicles to run on the tramway,

Me and my friend Ray Gathered on Saturday afternoon for a steam up on my tramway with his Lilla Silver Lady and his WIlson Locomotives 7/8ths scale "jack loco, all of which ran well despite Jack having a couple of issues running over one of the points, we ran the heaviest and longest trains in the history of the tramway so far but that will change soon, Here are some photos. the consist for the longest train 9 Vehicles . were Lilla - 2 Accucraft L&B wagons 4 Bachmann ore hoppers and 3 LGB coaches lilla simmers at the start of the cutting with the 9 vehicle train. silver lady hauling 2 IOM coaches a E van and a W&L cattle wagon, very irish here with the cattle wagon as the last vehicle on the train. Lilla Hauling 2 L&B wagons SIlver lady and 3 LGB coaches on a transfer trip up the gradient.

Hello Folks, A little bit of activity has been happening lately and so i thought id share whats been happening with you guys, The CCTs extension has been started! the Points for the Mainline and the siding were installed yesterday afternoon as well as the first curve for the extension, then i ran Lilla with 4 wagons around the new bits of track to see what bits worked well, just been doing some research on Tenmile point levers to see if i can fit them to all the aristocraft points that dont work currently.

here are some photos of what we did. the newly installed set of points for the extension as well as the replaced set for the carriage siding . Lilla Simmers on the first part of the extension to be laid, making it the first train on this part of the extension.

Gday Folks, been a little while since i last posted but there has been a lot happeneing, Today myself Cooltrain Ray and Dad helped me Dig up the cutting for the extension as well as replacing a set of points then we straightened a few bits of flex , i am going to scratch build a rail tractor with battery power and R/C in the near future with a couple of friends, hope you enjoy the photos, Mitch the start of the cutting. the entire length of the cutting with track loosely set out to show where the line will run. the long straight bit in the cutting. the replaced set of points.
the layout for A&K timber merchants siding where a horese drawn timber tramway on SM32 Mamod track will run.

Good to see work on the extension into a cutting. Will be interested to see how the rail tractor develops.

Thanks Rik i have chosen a Fordson Rail tractor at Millang Railway museum in South australia to scratch build in 16mm, because of the large size of the tractor in real life i can have plenty of room to fit a Reciver, Motor, charging switch and battery's in between the frames because it will be 45mm gauge so i have plenty of room, im thinking of either 3D printing the tractor body to 1:19 or getting a commercial tractor and cutting of the wheels and using the body Gearbox and steering wheel in the loco, i have dicussed this with some friends of mine and they reckon its doable, heres the link to the preserved Rail tractor im basing mine of so you get a idea for size http://www.milangrailway.org.au/milangwebsite_006.htm .

Gday Folks Apologies for the Lack of updates for the past few months, been Very busy With Work on the tramway as well as Planning stock and keeping up with the increasing School workload. Anyways We had a couple of design faults that we didnt pick up whilst planning the new bits of track so CoolTrain Myself and our mate Ray Came up with a solution which was to take out the sharp curve at cockatoo and Make it a Terminus station whilst we moved the board over so we have a longer run.
Here are some Photos of the plan i am Going to achieve in the next few months. The grand Plan for the CCT The Newly Rebuilt Yard at Cockatoo The points for the Future Quarry siding these points will be where the timber tram siding will be the new long straight along the back of the water tank
