7/8th scale

how tall are 7/8ths scale figures /people . I assume there 5 inchs ish tall

Sorry Jim, just spotted this and you are spot on. The few Rob Bennett figures I have are tipping in about a tadge over 5".

Well assuming the prototype is 6ft tall 7/8 of an inch to the foot gives you 7 x 6 = 42 eighths of an inch so 42/8 = 5 and a quarter inches.

The problem however is not just height, but proportion. If one looks at some of the 16mm figures currently available, there are obese to skeletal figures at each end of the spectrum that are extremely unrealistic, no matter how well detailed. I have just acquired some figures that have been printed and they are excellent with regard to both general proportion and detail.
