Cast station signs

The key ring in the picture is cast in tin and measures 82x23mm. Just a daft idea perhaps, but I was wondering if there would be any interest in cast signs with your railway name on it? I have not experimented with larger signs yet as my stock of tin is depleted but bigger should not be an issue. My laser limits the size of the pattern to 550x380. A practical size would be 300x100mm or thereabout.

A 300x100mm, 3mm thick sign would cost app. £65 and weigh app. 700 gram. Postage to UK would be £12. The time it takes to engrave the pattern and the amount of tin is the variable. The time to prepare the mold and cast it is roughly the same irrespective of size. I sell the made to order key rings locally for DKK 189 - about £22 now the value of the Pound has dropped.

When my furnace is built I may offer signs cast in alu. The raw material cost is considerably lower but it takes longer to melt.
