Wow! That is superb, and the first Silver Lady I have seen that actually looks like a real loco and works for its living.

Excellent!
Besides all the obvious mods, it took me a while to realise what
really made a difference - blackening the motion!
Top class!

That is absolutely fantastic. I thought the Garratt was something else, but that really is, well, something else!
I think you need to do an article for Mr Gorton; if only to keep him amused when the angry letters start pouring in from the shiny brigade

SECONDED
You've
got to do it!
I can imagine the tearing of hair and gnashing of teeth along with the cries of despair - "He's done
what to it?!"
(On second thoughts, perhaps you'd better not. The hate mail and death threats would put me off anyhow

)

Ian, at the very least you should post a "look what I have done" email and picture on the 16mm egroup. I am sure that Horrified of Tunbridge Wells will have a lot to say.
I still think it looks brilliant!

That looks wonderful, fantastic job with the weathering & the little details that give it that uinque look. Within the context of your line it fits perfectly, not everyone needs shiny loco's.
