Well since your line is where I like to go for my holidays, I ccan't really avoid it, and there was a definate improvement with the re-laying. I think it was the knights who liked impecible trackwork anyway, not me (otherwise why would I run anything on the SLR north )
The matching up of Taliesin, the bowsider and the obs will happen at a steamup for the first time at PTLRfest, so you've got a bit of a wait. I might be tempted to bring it forward if you come north before then...

"What the hell is that?"
"It's a model icebreaker sir."
"It's a bit big isn't it?"
"It's a full scale model sir....."

No ptlrfest has now claimed copywrite, the deadline sticks or no sequal to the diesel gala.

How can ptlrfest (whoever they are ) claim copyright on how the ANLR runs its trains and then do blackmail with whether it does videos of extreme comic value or not!
Which reminds me, I've come up with a new fantastic way of killing the railcar, it will look great on video, i'll tell you at Stoneleigh but lets just say that SLRmidge's gravel works building has got more to it then meets the eye

So did your sisters comment on the trailer.
These are the voyages of the starship enterplow.
P.S I need a spare million pounds to make the vid.

Not on the trailer, but she did on the video. She then rang me up saying how great it was and that she would like a sequel. I dunno where you are going to find a million quid though
BTW I think I should consider this topic Bungled, by cecil this time

Back on topic and here is a pic of the virtually completed carriage having its first run on the ANLR
I am in the process of fitting Ffestiniog transfers from DJB engineering and fitting vacuum pipes before the carriage enters service. I think it would also benifit from some more weight. Its number will be 15, continuing the ANLR tradition of numbering the Welsh Highland carriages correct to prototype generally and making the FfR carriages out by 2 (my model of number 11 is actually ANLR 9 whilst 15 is based on FfR 17)
The official launch into service will be with a non existent ceromany at the PTLRfest on 3rd of May. Buffet services will again be provided on the 11.00, 1.00 and 3.00 departures from Pine Tree road...

I second that MHLR! Motion Carried! YOur carriage building skills are prettyt darned impressive Ratty! Even though this coach id from a kit rather than one of your self builds, you've done a really great job. I was eyeing the kit up at Stoneleigh. Really wish i'd had the pennies for one buit my Baguley sound unit was more important for the time being. Perhaps in a few months!

"Who has stolen the 3 link coupling off the end of my train?!?!
.....[a few minutes pass hunting down replacements].....
"So, which comedian has uncoupled my entire train?!?!"
