Yes... it is most annoying,
I don't think anyone except for me has been on one of those bikes for at least 6 months now...

Lots of the rubbish will be going now that I have total control of the garden!

Nice one Zach. I like the idea of the balloon loops, will allow you to sit back, relax and watch the trains go by, or do some shunting and running around etc - plenty of options! Make sure the loading gauge is bigger this time too, so visiting engines can run!

Nice progress so far Mr Bond, I know that you're a bit of a stickler for timescales so I must ask the question - everything going on schedule so far?

Also, out of interest, what radius curves will you be using on your return loops and do you intend using "sprung" turnouts on them?

Nowt wrong wi' that! It's narrow gauge after all, (and my excuse is that the line's partially ex-industrial tramway!)

Right then. More progress. I had to remove a LARGE fucia from the garden which was taking up space where the river was going so I dug it out with a saw, spade, trowel and fork. It took alot of work and I have been left with a 100ft drop!

Progress!






Bricks now laid, the gap is for the lift bridge over the Deben! There is already quite a deep cutting which I plan to line with broken terracotta pots. It's good fun this railway building, much better than shelves although I will still be using shelves! - one of the station platforms at Woodbridge will be on a shelf!

double lines at woodbridge station. The balast is rowlands mix, cement, sand, green alpine stuff and soil.

Looking good there fella (apart from the wrong gauge of course, just joking you know how it is ).

As said it looks very industrial, Compton style industry buildings would look good scattered about some of the area's.

Nice progress Zach, hurray for the new track. Looks a little better now, all it needs is the rails being closer together by 13mm.

leave 45mm alone everyone! theres nothing wrong with it!

Looks good although the spot with the tight clearance looks madness! good look with that bit. I'd hack the tree back a bit
