No 7 has been in the works now that the loco actually does work.
I still have to sort the timing out but in the meantime it has been tweaked cosmetically a bit.

It has gained the nameplates "Scarlett" from the Jessie (demic) & a new regular (but rather irregular) driver. He is more suited to the wind & wetness of an edrig cab/deck.
Also as I keep forgetting to buy one I actually bodges together a coal greedy from some brass & some safety chains. Finally a summerlands chuff pipe was added. (No more water shooting out the chimney at the start & sounds much better).

Then of course a good thrash out on the line to enjoy the steam effects that this weather provides..

On shed.

Driver Jack may seem a little eccentric, but he knows how to get the most from this loco.

Out on the line hauling a sensible load for an Edrig.

Another TK Max trip at Preston to blame for that. Came with a 4 wheel horsecart that just was needed. ;)

Hmmm! The one that looks like an explosives wagon? ;)

Aye, thats the one. It's supposed to be some kind of prisoner wagon. But will become "PorthCadno fisherys" delivery wagon. Fish from the boat to the railway. Highlight of going to Preston (there is not many plus points) is dropping in TK Max & using my virtual scale to purchase odditys in the toy section. ;)

I like the mix of snow patches and grass coming through... Looks Very Cymraeg! How'd you get the snow to be scale? :P

No, they never have the one I'm missing Matt. Barbie in her working volunter at preserved steam railway Barbie outfit that is.

Simples, I go round with a blowtorch gently melting the snow until it becomes scale. Take a while but worth it... ;)

Ooh, you little fibber! I've seen the 1/19th snowflake seive you use! (The sieve of Eratosthenes - it only produces snowflakes with points that equate to prime numbers and are therefore less "sticky"!) ;)

Been a bit busy with the new build conservatory but still managed to run some stuff, gardens a bit of a mess in places though.

& how to entertain a two year old with a mad track inspection vehicle!

Always nice to see some more CVLR footage - and I quite appreciate the time and trouble to film, edit, upload and link videos so a big "Thanks For Sharing" is in order :D

Seems that a lot of the Forumites are a little "slack" when it comes to leaving comments these days (unless they've had their cage rattled!), but it's always nice (and polite I think) to receive feedback instead of just seeing the "views" counter increment ;)

but Scarlett 2 years old!?? Where have those two years gone

Great stuff as usual. Your track inspection vehicle reminded me of those used by New Zealand railways ( i think they called them jiggers)

Has your daughter asked for a loco of her own yet?

Loved the first video, the RoundJack is a lovely runner, looked very realistic!

And as for the track inspection vehicle, well, it doesn't 'alf shift!

Keep 'em coming mate!

That ispection railcar is AWESOME! The complete opposite of bluebottle. I'm thinking that the killer bunny needs to visit the CVLR and have a few laps, could make quite a good video!
Really nice to see your daughter being interested in the railway, my cousen used to be interested (drove my Caradoc when it was R/C age 8 better then I've seen some establisehed 16 millers drive), but then she grew up...
