Talyllyn coach "Leaping Lulu"

Coming to the end of my recent scratchbuild and almost awaiting prep for the paintshop. This is the so called Limping Leaping Lulu coach 4 of the Talyllyn Railway.

That is most impressive. Excellent work. No wonder you have been quiet for a while, you must have spent every waking hour on the detail.

What will you be using for running gear? Can you get those little spindly buffers or do you make those yourself?

28mm diameter wheels leaf sprung axles. Inner arches will be fabricated as per prototype to cater for the size of wheel. Sprung buffers would be desirable but has this is commission work, the customer requires centre buffers.

With that much work on at the moment I don't wake. I do rest my eyes now and again and time taking pictures isn't something that I have time for. It is impressive and will be more so when its finished. Thankyou all for your comments. I will endeavour to post if and when time allows in the meanwhile its back to work. Happy Modelling and Christmas when it eventually comes!

How were the door locks made? Its a detail which I've rarely seen modeled but an important one. Was this carriage also called Limping lulu or have I just misheard it?

It WAS called that - it had a bent axle!

Limping Lulu and Leaping Linda one jumped the other hopped I think.
Limp being to hop Leap meaning to jump. What a pair they would have made.
