I need to ask my wife. She takes care for plants and landscape of the garden rail. I take care for hardward, mechanic and electricity. However, the other plant is a Japanese maple tree. The left plant in the last photo. It also has very nice and red fine leaves in autumn. The maple tree is blurred a bit because I took a bokeh photo using 1.8 G lens.

It's Japanese Barberry tree. In Autumn, if the tree exposes to strong sun light, the leaves got to better bright red color.

It looks very much like the "ground birch" or "Betulia Rotundifolia" that grows in the far north!
