Had a play around with my camera today outside to show off my SL's new painted smoke box, roof and buffer beam:

She's looking great, at first glance its sometimes difficult to tell she's a lady anne. The black steam dome is an interesting feature, why did you go for that?

Looks great, I like the black and red and a subtle smattering of brass - nice

I liked the look of the RH Vale of Rheidol which has gives the impression of a polished black dome.

Hello

I like your Steamy Clare a lot. You've done a very nice paintjob and put on fine details. :D
I got my SL just a few weeks ago, and she will also have some extra details.

Its a Nikon s9050.  For under £100 I can't complain, however, I did edit the picture first before posting.

Enjoy your new loco Kjell. Look forward to some pics of your one?

Thanks to everyone for their kinds words.  I still think my SL is too 'shiny' but I am pleased with what I have done so far.

My coal fired Lady Anne will look very different ;)
