Obstruction on the line

When the crew and passengers of the Playtrain Intercity express where getting ready to entertain my 2 year old grandson recently, the driver spotted an obstruction on the line.

They alighted to investigate and discovered a hard baked (recent temps have been in the high 30s) coprolite.

I was called in to remove it and have placed an exclusion order on my stepdaughter's Jack Russell terrierist :)

I have run over quite a few dog turds on the Cromarty Light. Having three West Highland Terrorists this is to be expected! Thankfully, as I live in what a friend of mine refers to as Aridzona, they are usually nice and hard before hit. However, the larger examples can cause derailments.

In my rule book from work it states what speeds & when trains have to be halted with various depths of water & snow. There is no mention of these kind of obstructions!! :D

Try the Sectional Appendix under "evacuation" ;)

I would of thought that 90% of people on here ignore H&S, most seem to display common sense anyway/ ;)
