Spotted these on the STO models website:

£25 for a diecast VW Beetle in the correct scale, and R/C too that you could either drive around your railways roads or use for a battery loco!

However they look superb (except the wheels, too much pimping going on there!) , may have to build more roads near the line!! ;)

I had to keep looking at these as something didnt look right and I couldnt put my finger on it. The front bumper is certainly too low and the headlights look crossed between pre 67 slopies and post 68 uprights.
The wheels are way too bling, rock the stock i say!

Totally agree with the bumper & headlight comments too, but there's summat else not quite right - could be the photo, but the front & back slopes seem a bit too steep?

First post since starting the holiday (yes I was here in Bournemouth for the flood and then tragic Red Arrows crash

) so belated birthday wishes Sir Haydn! - I prefer the look of your cake to these bugs!

Knowing you, you'll probably stick flanged wheels on it and add an extra rail in the middle of your track!
