Was it stored in a fish tank or something?
Did the previous owner try and make a boat out of it?

i think it was stored in a very damp atic it is part of a rs1 we bought from uk was in shockingb condition but had never been fired

wagaons were fine but some of the track had that white cancer on them but they are now outside in the garden railway so not so worried about them
