Well and truly hi-jacked Cecil's thread now, here is Moelwyn in the middle of its reapaint into dark green.

The dark green makes the resin colour appear really bright now! The paint is Tamiya acrylic "Green" (no not dark green or even forest green or something like, just Green)

The body is removed by simply undoing 2 nuts and bolts at the back of the cab and sliding the body back. The electronic gubbins are in the bonnet, with a pair of wire connecting to the motor. There are a couple of areas for that are perfect for adding lead for increased weight, as you can see I've started doing this. There is room for a bit more if neccesary.

very nice to see the work being done laalratty

and thanks Andy for being so nice and prompt when a good friend had sheared a gear and a wheel whilst running (painful!)...nice service
