Traction engine wagon load

I got this traction engine years ago from either the 2008 or 2009 National Garden Railway Show I remember seeing a table of them for sale, cheap plastic black and yellow traction engines. Its spent the years since covered in rust dust in the garden but I recently repainted it after noticing that most of the rust had rusted away.

Had this LGB wagon spare so spent some time making tie down points and chaining it down ready for delivery.

Also repainted and chained down this plow to an old IP flat after seeing the idea on GeRiks blog.

They look just right for a rural railway. Your plough looks mush better scale than mine which are from the Brittains model farming range.

Its from the same Brittains model range, produced later I think it has plastic plow blades rather than castings. Nasty looking grey plastic Iv sprayed them metalic silver so it looks a little better.
I think the ones you have look fine farm plows where made in all shapes and sizes, Iv seen some very small garden plows I actually have a tiny single blade plow in the bushes under my garden railway.

The little Brill loco can pull me round my layout.
I fire it with anthracite using a teaspoon.....

Just done with a cheap paint pen, flicked through a couple of issues of Old Glory for something to base it off but didnt like the look of any of them so I just used Trevor from Thomas the Tank as a basis.

That is a wonderful load for your garden railway. I keep looking for a suitable 'scale-ish' traction engine for lineside, but haven't come across anything that I would be happy to sacrifice. I do have a Mamod TE21 with trailer, but as they're still boxed, I only bring them out on special occasions.
