UTRR - Unrealistically Tight Radius Ry. (Gn15 scale)

After cutting an 18 inch hole in the plywood I used for my Christmas tree layout, the E&GCT, I looked at the resulting disc and decided it had to be a micro layout. Drew having introduced me to Gn15 scale, and since I had these trees my grandma made me, I decided it would be Gn15. I'll have to pick up some HO flextrack at the train expo this year. Forgive the mess, I still haven't cleaned up the cardboard scraps from the tunnel and I started a LEGO project...

The name's a bit unfortunate though... Kind of makes me think of a UTI!

An indoor micro layout can be a great idea for when the weather is uncooperative, or for testing out ideas on a smaller scale before committing to them in the yard/garden. I'm excited to see how this one turns out!

That's got me motivated! Problem is, I only have so much money so the BM&LO is my biggest priority. I can still work on scenery during the winter but I won't have track for it until hopefully I can spare some money for it at the train expo.

The trouble with modeling more than one scale at a time is that they compete with each other for time and money! That's why my HO and O-16.5 stuff has been on hold, and I've been focusing on the 32mm projects... which are going nowhere anyway.
