SteamGeorge has come up with a real "thinking outside the box" theme for the next Gallery. So get your paintbrushes out and let's see your ideas for "Railway Livery".
So rules as always and closing date for entries will be 7th September.

I'll start the ball rolling with....

'Neptune', which ran on the Far Tottering and Oyster-creek Railway. A 15" gauge passenger carrying line designed for the 1951 Festival of Britain exhibition.
My scratch-built model is fitted with RC Trains equipment and runs on my SM32 garden railway. The livery is taken from postcards sold at the time.
The best things in life are free.... so why am I doing this?

I never run out of interesting details to look at on your models, Peter. :salute:
Couldn't top that if I wanted to, but to contribute something:

"Still-Unnamed Fictional Sugar Milling Company" livery. The roster is unusually well-maintained for a sugar mill, and crews expected to take pride in their charges and keep them reasonably clean.
With few exceptions over the years, steam locos were always green with red trim. I/C locos shared this livery in the inter-war years, changing to yellow at overhaul from the late 1940s..

A lovely line-up of locomotives Aaron, all immaculately presented.

Peter’s photo will take some beating this time, what a livery!

However, here is my entry, the BWLR engineers train in its fetching blue livery along with Goliath and its wasp stripes.
