7/8th Scale Characters

Post by WWLR » Fri Jun 23, 2023 9:12 pm

I've been looking around for characters to use with my 7/8th scale layout and have come across a candidate for my loco driver in the form of a well know personality, but not from this world.
Introducing Dr Who No 9, available in a three character action figure set.

At 5 3/8" tall this works out around 6' 2" with the added advantage of articulated joints at neck, shoulders, elbows, waist, hips and knees.
Unlike many of the Dotors, this one played by Christopher Eccleston, is dressed in safety boots and a short jacket, possibly only needing a flat cap to finish of the outfit.
Here he is trying out my part completed Ruston Hornsby 16HP battery powered loco, sat on a blob of blutack.

For anyone who is interested, I bought my set from B&M for £12.99 and the set has 2 Doctor characters, one being a semi transparent 'Hologram' which could be repainted for normal use or 'as is' for a ghost train! The third character is Rose Tyler, not quite so useful but I'll find her something to do.
