I've been using the butane/propane mix in my Mamod William, and it was the gas mix recommended by Cheddar Models for use with their ceramic burners.
It apparently works better than the butane only gas in cold weather - like just now!
I also find it easier to buy, as the butane gas tends to be sold at the Smokers outlets, whereas butane/propane is sold at most DIY stores, camping stores, etc. You just need one of those gas tank refill adapters to use with these gas cans - sold by PPS, Forest Classics, Chasteam, etc. (mine came with the Cheddar engine I bought some time ago).
