Its just about finished .it should run smother after the motor has run in. Just one window too paint and it can go outside

Nicely done. I like the way the beam sweeps around the room.

A little more progress tonight. Still not sure what this building will be yet but we shall see. Iv put the stones in to look like flint there are a lot of buildings near where I live are flint and brick some are flint and chalk blocks.so I'm sort of Copying this .iv glued the bricks in with Ct1 a very strong mastic the stones are guled in with ct1 as well .iv then filled in the gaps with waterd down pva .the whole building will be given a several coats of car spray paint .then wheather sheld house paint. Hopefully this will last outside. This building is not going to cost me a lot the celetex was left over from a job at work I bought 4 sheets of syrofoam for 13 pounds. The ct1 is from work I have paid for that but I buy 16 at a time so get it cheap .the roof is ikea chopping boards 2 pounds eatch .I already had the pva and iv already got the paint for it from leftovers from work .the windows u got on e bay 20 pounds for a big box and iv only used a few

Re: North Avenue Line
I like it Jim, you have a new and innovative approach to your buildings, which is refreshing. It is a bit like placing modern art against old masters..... they both work well in the eye of the beholder.

Re: North Avenue Line
Are you planning to leave it out all year or bring it inside between sessions or over winter? It looks as if it should be fairly weatherproof. I like the idea of a water works. Don't often see them modelled and yet they must be part of many communities.
Hmmmm.... You've got me thinking. Chemical supplies, occasional deliveries of silver sand, heavy machinery such as pumps once in a while....

Re: North Avenue Line
Yes outside all year it's a celetex shell with ikea chopping boards as the roof and blocks and stones fixed on with mastic
Re: North Avenue Line
Looking good. The goods over the windows remind me of a building begin my in-laws' house - which happens to be something to do with the water industry, pumping or treatment, maybe both. It's streaked with rust like yours too...
Cheers,
Andrew.
