Night running on the Rhydypenau Garden Railway
Re: Night running on the Rhydypenau Garden Railway.
some nice bit of night running Tony, bit dark at the top end though. I don't think I would be brave enough to run mine when it's that dark....But you never know....
Can you tell me please what is that tressel keeping your boards up....

Re: Night running on the Rhydypenau Garden Railway.
Hi Rod,
I don't really have a garden railway more a portable layout in the garden, the raised section boards are supported on fold-away legs, the ground level sections on brick piers. The raised section legs are made from 20 mm square section wood as my Rhydypenderyn layout is; the straight sections have two legs the curves one.
Late last year before we decided to complete the refurbishment of the railway I made this video which might help show the construction. If you want further information let me know.
Regards Tony.

Thanks Tony.
Some very welcome information there. Like the way you can store the track in the garage too.
