Yes I agree. I have a number of the examples from Back2Bay6 which were 1:19 or 16mm/ft ish. I remember seeing similar figures in much larger scale for sale in a local dolls house supplier. The 16mm/ft ones were reasonable quality and quite cheap, though some were improved with a repaint.
This range of figures appears to contain figures that weren't in the original range.
Note though, if the figures on sale are 1/12 scale they will be very large for 7/8 scale.

I've been reading this thread and looking at one of the figures tying to decide whether to buy or not. I wanted the serving girl to put on one of my Emett trains which are more like 1/12th scale. Eventually I decided to go ahead and placed the order only to find it had been reduced by £1.00. I'll let you know when she arrives.

Well my serving 'wench' arrived this morning and she is a cracker!!!
Lovely looking figure and plenty of weight (not saying she's fat you understand). She is just the right size for my Emett train...

The next picture shows the actual size of the figure which I reckon works out to about 5'6" in 7/8 scale. Alongside her are some figures recently given to me which are very similar in scale and might also be useful to 7/8 modellers. I think they might be something to do with Doctor Who series and all have articulated arms and legs etc. They can be modified with Milliput to be more in keeping with the railway...

thank you for the pictures peter they are very helpful. I think im going to use some of these figures iv found on e bay (well the shorter ones anyway )iv seen some of these doctor who figures and I may buy a few if I see them cheap .I like the look of the e bay figures as they do look fairly realistic. I do like the busy body type figures but I don't fancy sitting for hours painting them and they do look a little cartoon like and at 20- 25pounds each is a lot to just sit in the garden
