15" Fowler diesel in 1:12

Very nice indeed, would make a nice little engine in full size.
Can well imagine the problems with short drivers on Lydia given the dropped footplate!

Well the loco performed very well at York show, I hadn't charged the battery pack since it had arrived through the post a couple of weeks ago and it didn't need charging until the end of the second day! The loco now has it's mane and works plates. Last night we had a bit of a running session in the garden and decided to load test the Fowler

as you can see it coped very well even with my 3'6" radius curves, we did add more vehicles and despite there being no shortage of power, adhesion on the wet rail was a problem, even with the loco weighing in at 3.5 KG.....
