A very popular starting point for Live Steam. With their low cost comes a number of problems which can be discussed here

stoping on points

Post by Roberts wood light railwa » Fri Mar 27, 2015 10:39 pm

as my mamod goes over my set of points it seems to go tight. it only does this as it goes over them in a forward facing point direction and doesnt do it in reverse. ive checked the back to backs with the 16mm asso guide and theyre spot on. im not convinced its the track as it only does it in one direction.

any ideas?

What make of track/points are you using? If it Mamod your problems are pretty normal. If you search on this forum you should find Chris Cairns detailed the issue and a fix a while back.

Personally its one of the reasons I replaced all my Mamod track with Peco.
