New Manor Models Railway website (title updated)

A very popular starting point for Live Steam. With their low cost comes a number of problems which can be discussed here

New Manor Models Railway website (title updated)

Post by Chris Cairns » Wed May 15, 2013 8:34 pm

Manor Models used to sell railway items through their www.mamodrailway.co.uk website, but that URL now directs you to the current www.mamod.co.uk website. The Mamod Rail option on their main website menu has disappeared.

Is this another dealer who has pulled out of the Railway business?

The last time I spoke with David Terry he said something along the lines of only selling the train items via their own website. I got the impression they weren't offering trade prices to dealers.

Should have made it clearer, Manor Models sold MSS railway items but also had a couple of laser cut kits as well to enhance the flat bed wagon.

Here's the last webpage that the Wayback Machine captured, but some of the links will re-direct you to Mamod Ltd. - http://web.archive.org/web/201209110020 ... way.co.uk/

So it now looks like Manor Models has given up the domain www.mamodrailway.co.uk which Mamod Ltd have taken over.

Manor Models has a new railway website - http://www.manormodelsrailway.co.uk/ although strangely there is no link to there from their main Manor Models website.

Just to add to the confusion Manor Models has registered another URL for their railway website - msssteam.com

And again there is no link to this website from their main website.
