MMS repair man

A very popular starting point for Live Steam. With their low cost comes a number of problems which can be discussed here

MMS repair man

Post by planty » Mon Feb 25, 2013 10:05 pm

Does anyone know of any MMS repair men? I've an engine that is in the need of some repair work in order to get things running for summer, I haven't the time or the patience (something to do with 3 small people in our house!) at the moment to tinker around getting things going unfortunately.

The engine in question is in need of some cylinder overhauling to get things running, it's a slightly modifield loco that has regulator, new safety valve and gas burner fitted.

I'd be willing to pay for the work of course.

I'd be happy to look at it for you.

I can provide references for Dan too. Infact, I think all of us of the 'Butterley Mamod Mashers' can to be fair as he had our flagship oscillators through his works in a conveyor belt style

Good as gold. :thumbleft:
