Just the ones off the normal mamod stationary models. I think someone on the mamod forums made some replica railway ones. I think it was syrtismajor.

MM Always nice to see Rosa in action. Are the new transfers copies of the Railway one or just the general Mamod one that Forest Classics sell.

If I come to STIA as a member of the public and come in my car then I can bring my Prescott Rolling Road as well.

steamyjim Have you got those Mamod Gauge 1 wheels to work yet?

The decals on Rosa are the ones me and flywheel had made. I have the ones that Forest sell on my other loco!

We really need a rolling road at STIA because the layouts are too far away from the shed

My John Prescott Rolling road is dual guage and I've got a third set of rollers as well for those Mamod 0-6-0T conversions!

I got it from his trade stall at The Merstham Steam Rally a couple of years ago, plus some of his oil and other odds & ends so got some discount.

Seems to depend on your locos wheel flanges as the old style Mamod locos run OK, new style William does not like it, and my IP Jane seems to struggle some times.

But excellent to see where the steam leaks are whilst running by putting it up on blocks and then using an inspection mirror under the loco. Helped me identify the weakness of the solder fillet at the bottom of the Mamod boiler on the pipe that is used to get the steam pipe up into the steam dome nut.

HMMMMMM, bit expensive for me

My grandad did say to me once that we could have a go at making one, but its never been high on the 'to do' list

Helps a lot when you do not have a Garden railway to try your locos out on, or when the weather is foul like our severe gales here in Scotland recently.
