Problems with myfreeforums
Are our Admin & Moderators aware of any ongoing maintenance affecting our Forum by myfreeforums?
I could not access the Forum earlier today repeatedly getting a "was not found on this server" message.
Later on I managed to access the Forum but whilst trying to reply to a topic the Forum reverted to the following screen message instead -
And if you scrolled down to the bottom it said that gardenrails.myfreeforum.org does not exist.
Other Forums have suffered the same problem today and myff Admin appears to have fixed the problem although does not explain what it was.
The disadvantage of a free service I guess.
Chris Cairns.

yeah, i ha the same problems too, although for some reason, whenever i tried to access the forum, instead of getting the 'this page isn't on this sever' message, I would sometimes get a white screen with a little bit of text in the top-left hand corner that said 'hello zaphod'.

I was aware and earlier spent a while on the forumforum finding out that several other sites had been affected but couldn't find a sensible answer. Then I checked back and it was fine again!
I hope it didn't interrupt people's days too much. It upset me rather alot when I saw the "doesn't exist" part!

Chris is in Glasgow I'm in Essex and we have both had minor trouble logging on to this and In my case one or two other site's with similar error messages. Fortunately it doesn't happen very often but seam's to be a new regular occurrence from time to time.
