Looks like Sir Haydn got the last correct answer, but he should have posted last year but didn't
"What the hell is that?"
"It's a model icebreaker sir."
"It's a bit big isn't it?"
"It's a full scale model sir....."

Probably because this happened -
Having enjoyed thr christmas quiz I thought an all year round one was in order.
the rule are simple
Whoever answers the question correctly and is confirmed be the person who asked the question posts the next question, if the question is realy hard then clues should be given to keep the thing moving.

So first question

Who was the originator of the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway?

Well, if everyone else is content to ask who's going to ask, but nobody's going to ask, then somebody had better ask or we'll just keep going round in circles.

1 locomotive had in its lifetime: four owners, three gauges, three names, two home lines, one number worn and one number allocated but never carried. Name the loco (any of the three names).
Well, now we know the buffer-stops work! (Heard at 2013 "Longest Day" solstice steamup)

A Narrow gauge railway that existed in two forms, in two gauges, 5 locos in total and didn't last more then 20 year overall. Which line am I describing?
