Well I was quite shocked when I opened the latest issue of "16mm today" and found a memorial article dedicated to Brian or MDLR as he was known on this forum.
I'd like to extend condolences to anyone on this forum who was friend of his. He was one of the many contributors to this forum who have mysteriously dropped off in the last year or two, but not before I had the good fortune to meet him in person in Peterborough in 2017. I recognized him from photographs in his many posts here and articles he had written in magazines. I only had a chance to say "hello" briefly but he was a friendly chap and I felt I knew him at least a little better than a complete stranger due to his membership in the association and participation in this forum. I'm sad I will not be running into him again.

Keith,
Your sentiments were shared by many, back in October. You must have missed the thread at the time.
