clock-work critter

During a moment of boredom I decided to turn 1 of my scratchbuilt locos into a clock-work powered loco.

How do you wind it up? Where (if you'll pardon the expression) do you stick the key?

Nice one, turning that loco clockwork really enhances its quirkyness to another level

theres a little hole in the skirting on the right side.

Great to see that I am not the only one going down the Clockwork...sorry SPRINGDRIVE route..I've even found books on it and asked some old timers

I must get on with the hunslet that never was and turn down the wheels on my AWNUTS one so it can run on Peco track
