Toy Trains modified to run on a Garden Railway.

Post by Tony Bird » Tue Nov 10, 2020 8:36 am

Hi,

B.C. (Before Covid) I had bought over some years in charity shops toys that might be converted to run on rails so entertain children visiting the Cardiff MES garden railway. Too many had been bought and probably only a few would have been modified had it not been for the extra time spent in the workshop due to Covid. Over the last six months one toy has been modified every week or so. A bit of a video:

When I start visiting charity shops again I don't doubt that more will be purchased as it is quite fun figuring out how to modify them.

Take care.

Tony.

Brilliant Tony, I love them all. Good to see you haven't been wasting your time!
The best things in life are free.... so why am I doing this?
