Hi I'm thinking of purchasing a mamod boulton. Does anyone know if it's able to run on code 250 or code 200 track?

I am no expert but I would not think you would have a problem with either.

In my local group there are two members who have purchased Boltons since they have become available and both are run on our portable track which is laid with Peco track which is I believe is code 250. A very nice loco at a very attractive price and I have been seriously considering one to add to my loco stud.

Just to clarify:

Peco SM32 = code 200
Peco G45 = code 250

Thanks for the responses. I ended up going with the Mamod Steam Tram and it works wonderfully. I don't want to be a bother, but would it theoretically work on O gauge finescale track if there are no points.
