Hickory Lake Lumber #2

On a damp and dreary morning, Hickory Lake Lumber Companies shop crew eases Climax #2 out of the shop. Newerly aquired from a nearby line that had logged out their tract. She is the "big" road unit for them, but a baby in terms of 3 truck Climaxes, weighting in at just 50 tons when most were closer to 100 tons with 3 trucks. She still has a few ailments, just waiting on parts to arrive and RC to be installed. When my RH Davenport arrives, she will carry road number 1. Aster chose 1:23rd as the scale for this model, while a bit odd, she fits in well with my LGB disconnect log cars and stuff from Hartland, Kalamazoo and Bachmann's earlier line of cars(not the 1:20.3 stuff).
