Hey Folks , In July 2019 I ordered my Second ever steam loco and my First ever Gas Fired Roundhouse Loco from Argyle Loco works in Olinda and I decided to make it look a Bit Different To other Sammie’s around,......
This Particular Sammie Is Painted in Maroon fresh from the Factory and the Only one in the Southern Hemisphere and possibly the world to be painted Maroon which suits it very well, I also Ordered The Basic Series Crosshead enhancement pack + Black Cylinder Covers and a Pressure gauge in the cab.,
I eventually plan to Fit Baldwin Worksplates to the smokebox sides and Name plates to the cab as well as Dumb Buffers and Lamp brackets from Loco works and maybe repaint the Rods .

Will update soon enough once I’ve steamed it .

“Robin” sits outside the water tank for its Works Photo on the CCT.

Hi Mitch,
Looks like you got enough running to familiarise yourself with the engine, and put a few running in miles on it.
As you may have guessed Friday and Saturday are when all the action is happening.
Did you happen to call in to the GSSU on Saturday afternoon?
Grant.
