Not a great deal of help I know, but one was given away free with SMT a short while back to celebrate 40years of the Society. It covered all the common narrow gauge scales. Don't know where to get them otherwise, but the manufacturer is/was " Rulex".

This mob in the US list 1:19 scale rulers in both Imperial or metric and in a range of lengths.

Still got my 16mm give away if you want it. It's only 6" long (in real inches 😀) but could be useful.....mine was in the original sealed bag 10 minutes ago so won't miss it!

I have one which is easily 20 years old now but only recently become a useful piece of kit. It is white plastic with scales of 16mm/ft, 7mm/ft, 4mm/ft and 'TT' (whatever scale that is..... 3mm/ft ?) It is about 18 (real) inches long and has proved invaluable during my buildings construction.
Unfortunately it is in my shed at the moment so can't give a makers name..... I will find out tomorrow.

Scale rule from..... Railwood Products (Coventry) 01203 715846 That's all I can offer.
Also included in the scales is HO 3.5mm/ft, so it occurred to me that with 5 scales included any one of those followers might be able to offer advice on suppliers?

There's a HO scale rule somewhere on the desk I use for a workbench in the house. Can't remember when I last used it, or even why I bought it. Needless to say I don't own one for Fn3 scale work.

Since pocket calculators didn't exist when I was at school, for many years I used a slide rule for calculating the conversion factor between drawings and model dimensions. It used to fascinate small kids when I used it on the scratchbuilding demonstration stand at exhibitions. 8)

Eveventually cheap solar powered pocket calculators became available and I keep a few scattered around the place. The one used out in the workshop is in a plastic bag to keep swarf out of the innards........

Graeme

I can laser cut/engrave to any scale you want but it's probably a lot more economical to buy one ready made.
