Station platform progress:
1st attempt using well sealed and painted plywood, Ikea draw separators as fencing and playmobile lights.
There are two platforms, one of them is finished as below.

Brilliant idea with the ikea draw separators, like your build of the platform, nice use of materials Steve.

Building and lights finish that one off.
And the larger one is ready to go too (but i'll end up replacing that building).

I looked up those lamps you are using and they are a nice design as the battery is housed inside the base.
How big are they?

The ones i used are 12v with the wiring on the underside of the platform.tom_tom_go wrote: ↑Sun Oct 15, 2017 9:20 am I looked up those lamps you are using and they are a nice design as the battery is housed inside the base.

I also used the sticky 12V LED strips you get on a reel to light inside the buildings

Time to simplify the track layout near the greenhouse as the double slip is causing derailments (its R1, everything else is minimum R3)

Nice to see a DCC system here, thanks for sharing. Looks like a lot of track to keep clean!

Wow! That's some run. I assume you're using DCC with four trains on the go.
