Very nice! I particularly liked the view down the hill - and the beach huts...

Cheers,

Andrew.

You have a great eye for landscaping!

Yes, I finally got round to putting trees on the houses side of the view down the hill, which make it look less bare. I still have to put in the level crossing, and there are plans afoot for a building at the end of that view in the form of a railway company warehouse (mainly to hide the concrete pillar ... which sort of blends in in the photo, but stands out fairly clearly in real life ...

Yes, a lot of people complain about that ;) I know that we put buildings into landscapes in the real world, but having a think about the buildings, before we invest in plaster of paris and polyfilla, might have been a good idea on a number of occasions on the K&NWLR.

Absolutely SUPERB!!!
I would not have thought such detailing possible with smoke, steam and oil trying their best to mess it all up...
My 16mm indoor layout seems so insignificant compared to this.

A view from the station towards the end of the line.

At the opposite end, two overbridges mask the exit from the shed to the outdoor part of the railway.....yet to be built!

I had thought of using steam outside only but you might have changed my mind.

Thanks, but your layout has signalling with all the ground-level trimmings! Very impressive! Where did you get your signals? I´m still searching. Nice signal box!

The shots of my harbour hide the fact that the buildings are still not permenantly fixed in place, but they hide some of the mess on that particular building site.

I still haven´t figured out how to load photos on this particular forum, but I´ll keep going, as you have obviously got the hang of it.

Andrew
