Finally finished this project off:






I know it does not look particularly weather beaten at the moment, however, once the sun and rain has done their work I am sure it will fit in nicely with the railway.

Thats looking good ,I feel it needs a bit of graffiti as nothing can get left to deteriorate with out someone writing on it. I like the rusting roof very good.

I don't think this coach is finished yet its just my line is lacking line side buildings so I wanted to get it out there quick for the summer.

Maybe once the winter has done its weathering work I will improve (or rather help deteriorate) it some more

Looking great, love all the clutter. I'm really enjoying watching your line develop Tom, it's going to have a lot of character.

Inspired by the old Welsh Highland I built a couple of Ffestiniog Ashbury 4 wheelers to ground as bodies - that's what happened to many of the real things. The idea was that I'd run 'em for a while then ground them. As I should have predicted, I don't think I'll ever actually do it, I'll just have to build some more - without wheels from the start this time...

Very kind Andrew. I am glad my little line is giving people pleasure.

I did a quick Google search of the Ffestiniog coaches and they would look great grounded. I can put a tea light in my abandoned coach which I can see you doing the same in your Ffestiniog versions as well.

If you're going to put a ree light in, visit your local pound shop and get two or three LED ones for a pound!
