Semi-scale BR: Bulleid 0-4-4-0T actually moving!

Post by BertieB » Sun Aug 09, 2020 10:23 am

Welcome to another dodgy Dodgy Video: the homage to Bulleid and Stanley Kubrick that the British Film Institute’s been waiting for.

See the train traverse the same few yards of track 26 times! (with noisy music and full-size audio, of course).

Hope you enjoy it.

Next job is to persuade other members of the household that we need to move somewhere (extraordinarily cheap, obviously) with a vast garden, offering the scope for a double track with large radius curves and exciting new camera angles.

Blimey! That’s very kind, Peter. I’ll do my best.

Great bit of modelling and excellent video editing.
Good to see the cat making an appearance as well - much more visible this time!
..... And there was me thinking you had also become a virtuoso on the uke during lockdown.... ;)

Love the video, especially the fact that they are slow running and not just a blur and gone. Great work :thumbleft:

Sadly, no. However, I did commission (and I won’t be thanked for reporting this) the Dodgy Video Electric Ensemble to provide a sympathetically mellow musical accompaniment for this video. Unfortunately nothing had been delivered by the deadline. Next time!
