A Journey on the Grasslander

Post by gregh » Wed May 20, 2020 6:12 am

About 6 years ago, four GR mates and I decided to make a video of a 'trip' along all our railways.

A single train was videoed on each of our lines using locos from each line.
Since our GR group is called GRASS, the obvious name for the train was 'The Grasslander'.
The resultant movie was 25 minutes long!
I have now created a 5 minute segment of the train on the Sandstone and Termite only.
There are a few experiments with green-screen effects.

If you want to see the whole 25 minute video, here's the youtube link.

(Apologies for ‘recycling’ an old video, but I suspect most on here will not have seen the original.)

Some really great shots on this video. Really liked the chasing the camera shot - I might pinch that idea!
N0. 14 is my favourite of your locos ....
