An absolute gem, far more interesting and entertaining than anything on TV.

The boat is my favourite part. There's historical precedent for this: the arctic exploration ships HMS Erbus and HMS Terror were made from old bomb-sloops. Each had auxiliary propulsion provided by a retired Stevensons Planet-class locomotive mounted athwartships in the hold with a propeller-shaft attached to one of the wheels!

Hopefully we shall see one soon, as the Terror has been found almost completely intact and the Erebus somewhat less so but still more-or-less in one piece.

Hopefully your cracker-powered canal tug has a happier life!
