I have used some of these wagons and the couplings etc as a basis for some of my rolling stock.

I have no commercial interest with this seller just like his products.
Examples of what I have done with them,
I used steel wheels on the crane

On the sugar cane bins I used the plastic wheels

I've always used Hartland Mini-series wagons as the basis for my wagon builds but they are increasingly difficult to get in the UK. These look like a cost effective alternative. I've not found an eBay.co.uk listing for these but I'd imagine he would ship to the uk.

Nice build of the Crane, I love it.
He does say in his postage that he does international shipping Rik. But then we may need to pay import tax on them...

I did buy one a couple of years ago. It's still sitting on my shelf awaiting its fate. I also bought some of his couplings at the same time to play around with, so I know he has shipped to the uk in the past. Maybe he's just not got around to relisting them on eBay.co.uk

PS I didn't pay any import tax and never have as yet when buying from China etc. Who knows what will happen in the future.....

These look great.
Are the axleboxes really sprung? That would be a huge advantage for reliable running in the great outdoors.

From what I have gathered over the years of dealing/corresponding with him he is in the UK but makes and ships from Sri Lanka.
A tip the stain used did run when I painted the crane with a cheap spray pack but an overnight soak in bleach gave me a nice unstained wagon.
Hmm that is waiting for something to done to it, might have to fully unpack the modelling area and look at building. Just another retirement job to keep me occupied.
