Danny, most of us in the Traffic Departmen t would see moving on to the loco department as a demotion! :shock: I've never been interested in getting involved in footplate work - I spent enough time in that location as a Guard, Movements Inspector and Pilotman to have had my fill and more! Haha yeah...

I vounteer at the Dean Forest Railway, Ticket inspector, Crossing Keeper, Guard, that sort of thing, hoping to move up to loco crew later on this year.

If its joystick stuff your looking for (like model aeroplane controllers) then I use Planet equipment, its not the cheapest 2.4ghz gear you can buy but its not the most expensive - its also good quality.

Hi all, I have a customer that would like a Roundhouse Billy but would also like a water top up valve - the engine obviously does not come with one however does anyone have one fitted/know someone that has one fitted and how it was done? I would guess you'd need to fit a water gauge too? Any help ap...
